【Snowy Japan Alps: From Ohara-cho, Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture】

The Northern Alps of Nagano Prefecture is also called the "Japanese Alps". Although it is part of the Hida Mountains that form the prefectural border with Gifu Prefecture, the magnificent Northern Alps can be seen from various parts of Omachi City. The Northern Alps, which are covered with snow crowns, are particularly magnificent and attractive. It brings a sense of security and relaxation to the locals, and marvels and fascinates the hearts of travelers.

The place I will introduce this time is on the west side of Route 147, which runs north and south in Omachi City, and was taken from the vicinity of the road commonly known as the "Sanroku Line".

Take the foot of the mountain from south to north, cross the lotus bridge over the Takase River and go north a little, and you will find a big crank in Ohara Town. It was taken from the road on the north side of the crank.

Kashimayarigadake at an altitude of 2,889m, Jiigatake at an altitude of 2,670m, and Mt. Noguchi Goro at an altitude of 2,924m can be glimpsed. In addition, the large mountain that looks down on the local area in a round shape is Rengedake at an altitude of 2,799 m.

Anyone can easily go to the shooting location, so please visit.

All the images were taken with a 500mm lens up close to the top of the mountain. I will introduce the situation from the locals on another page at a later date.

There is a slight error in the coordinates. Please understand.
